DCE Volunteers

The Department of Correctional Education greatly appreciates and encourages all potential volunteers. To volunteer, an applicant must be at least 18 years of age and pass all security requirements. In certain instances, background checks are mandatory.

Presenters and individuals who speak to groups of students are the most frequent type of DCE volunteers, however, academic tutors who work directly with students typically log the most volunteer hours.
